Golden Valentina, as her name suggests, is in honour of “The Golden Age”. She reads with her back to us, lying down and slightly turned away from the spectator´s gaze, immersed in her reading. It´s a world in which she does not make us participants. The thread of the fibre defines her hand and toes of her right foot in movement, twisting in a distracted way as she lifts her right leg; a movement we can just about perceive. The book is also part of it; the letters and the content of the book appear to travel up her arm, permeating her, blending with her hair and with her DNA, ultimately composing her morphology in the form of a three- dimensional scribble in the air.
